We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the Capital Projects team. The successful candidate will lead the direction, execution and completion of Capital projects, ensuring they are consistent with project objectives and Edinburgh Airport's overall strategy.
What you’ll be doing:
- Project managing across a portfolio of projects valued from £100k - £15m
- Developing the infrastructure of people, process and system solutions required for a variety of identified business needs or opportunities
- Maintaining an efficient and timely implementation of the project timeline, using project controls where necessary to ensure key project metrics (time, cost and quality) are met
- Collaborating with assigned project sponsors to ensure they are supported throughout the project lifecycle and expectations are managed
- Application and management of projects through the Edinburgh Airport toll gate process
- Investigate and prepare appropriate guidance on the most effective procurement approaches to achieve project deliverables
- Timely and accurate presentation of project reporting on all aspects of delivery, cost planning, financial reporting, procurement, tendering and contract administration
Qualifications:
To apply for this role, you'll need to hold a degree or have proven experience in a relevant construction project or engineering management discipline. This role requires the successful candidate to obtain a Counter Terrorist Check, so you must have been living in the UK for the last 3 consecutive years.
