The Role
As a Stores Person, you will be responsible for processing orders received by the Stores Department, including receiving all deliveries, checking and verifying goods upon arrival, and organising the timely distribution of items. You will be responsible for the precise selection and retrieval of parts from inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times. Additionally, you will operate a forklift to transport, collect, and receive materials in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
Your role will also involve:
- Maintaining the stores to ensure an organised and efficient working environment
- Collecting parts from the company's operational sites
About You
To be considered as a Stores Person, you will need:
- A minimum of two years’ experience working within a warehouse or stores department
- Effective IT skills and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office Packages
- Effective communication skills
- At a minimum, GCSEs at Grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent
- A valid forklift truck licence
- A full, valid driving licence
Hours of work: Monday - Thursday, 8.30am - 5:00pm and Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm.
