We are currently looking for a Commercial Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role:

As a Commercial Manager, you will provide critical commercial support across sales, projects and maintenance to help the business achieve its strategic objectives. Specifically, you will review, negotiate and draft the terms and conditions of projects and maintenance agreements, providing expert input into commercial risk evaluations, as you support up to 40 new projects and over 250 active maintenance agreements.

Alongside this, you will also be instrumental in resolving commercial issues, liaising with client representatives and third parties, and helping to secure favourable outcomes on variations, claims, additional payments, and disputes.

Additionally, you will:

  • Deliver professional, high-quality, and timely contract solutions
  • Provide commercial cover and guidance across departments
  • Assist in the preparation of commercial bids during tenders
  • Help resolve contractual issues or escalate to senior management as needed

About You:

To be considered as a Commercial Manager, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction contract management
  • Experience with legal documentation and standard forms such as NEC, MF1, Fidic, IChemE and JCT contracts
  • Experience in discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating business contracts
  • Experience in preparing or assisting with commercial bids
  • Experience in resolving contractual issues or providing clarity for senior management
  • A minimum qualification of a Foundation degree, Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent in civil or structural engineering, construction management, business or contract management, building studies or quantity surveying
  • A full, valid driving licence

This is a full-time role, working Monday - Thursday 8.30 am - 17.00 pm and Friday 8.30 am - 16.00 pm.
