This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled, qualified mechanical or electrical engineer with strong knowledge of gas, petrol or diesel engines to join our leading international organisation. You will play a key role in maintaining and optimising installations that help our customers improve energy efficiency, reduce emissions and move towards a vital net zero future. The Role:
As an Operations Engineer, you will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work on installations. Ensuring that customer satisfaction is achieved, you will efficiently diagnose and implement all reactive maintenance work on our clients' installations, as well as other users' installations. You will oversee and work to optimise the operational processes of a company's systems to increase productivity and reduce their use of excess time and materials.
About You:
To be considered as an Operations Engineer, you will need:
- A minimum qualification to ONC/D, NVQ Level II or City & Guilds Level 2 in mechanical engineering, motor vehicle studies or equivalent
- To be a competent time served technician in a mechanical discipline, preferably with a minimum of three years experience
- In-depth knowledge of gas, petrol or diesel engines
- Effective IT skills and competency in the use of Microsoft Office Packages
- A full, valid driving licence
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM. This role will involve weekend work and possible out of hours work. You will be required to participate in an established 24-hour callout programme based on a rota system.
