We are currently looking to appoint an Estimator / Tendering Engineer to join our Sales Team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a qualified and experienced tendering engineer with technical expertise in power generation to join our progressive organisation at the forefront of sustainable power solutions.

You will play a pivotal role in turning cutting-edge energy proposals into real-world projects, gaining exposure to diverse technologies while refining your strategic, technical, and commercial skills.

The Role:

As an Estimator / Tendering Engineer, you will support sales activity by preparing high-quality, commercially sound tenders and proposals. Aiming to turn sales leads into profitable projects, you will produce accurate, competitive bids and maintain a strong understanding of technical and commercial conditions.

You will review detailed engineering tender packages, evaluate project viability from both technical and practical perspectives, and carry out site visits to ensure rate accuracy and proposal relevance. Additionally, you will:

  • Manage communication with clients
  • Prepare price estimates, budgetary proposals, and formal bid submissions
  • Interpret client specifications and identify deviations where necessary
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

About You:

To be considered as an Estimator / Tendering Engineer, you will need:

  • To hold a degree qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with a minimum of two years experience within a similar role or equivalent OR
  • To hold an HND/HNC qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with a minimum of three years experience within a similar role or equivalent
  • To have technical expertise in power generation utilising reciprocating engines, batteries, standby and all associated mechanical and electrical systems, energy production and O&M operation, CDM and health and safety.
  • To have experience in the successful design, technical management and development of Energy Projects.
  • To have competency in Microsoft Office Packages and experience using CRM systems for tracking proposals
  • To have a full, valid driving licence

Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 5:00pm and Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm.
