About Edify Systems
Edify Systems is the AI operational platform for quick service restaurants, focusing on inventory management, production planning and AI analytics. We already work with the likes of Pret, Dunkin’, Yolk Brands and over 50 more.
This is a classic outbound BDR seat where cold calling sits at the heart of the role and at the heart of how you earn. You will work through target accounts, start real conversations, book quality meetings and build genuine pipeline. A lot of the heavy lifting is already done. The messaging, target lists and core strategy exist, so you are not starting from a blank page. You will work closely with our Head of Growth, who will mentor you directly on what to say, who to call and how to convert conversations into meetings.
We are looking for someone who treats this like their own business. There is a strong level of self management involved. The right person is comfortable owning their day, holding themselves to a high bar and putting in the work without being chased. If you love the phone and you measure yourself on results, you will do well here.
This is a role with a clear path forward. We want this person to progress into an Account Executive seat, and the route to get there is open to whoever earns it.
What you will do
- Run high volume outbound cold calling into target food and beverage and QSR accounts.
- Book qualified, net new meetings for the wider team to take forward.
- Work the existing playbook, target lists and messaging, and feed back what is and is not landing.
- Partner closely with the Head of Growth, who will coach and mentor you.
- Keep your pipeline and activity clean and up to date so we always know where things stand.
- Bring ideas. As you learn the patch, you will help sharpen the approach over time.
What we are looking for
- Previous BDR or SDR experience. You have done this before and you know the rhythm of outbound.
- Genuine comfort and proven track record with cold calling. You are not afraid of it.
- Strong self management and work ethic. You own your numbers and you do not need to be managed minute to minute.
- Resilience and consistency. You can handle a no, reset quickly and keep dialling.
- Clear, confident communication and the ability to build rapport fast.
- Coachable mindset. You want to be mentored and you act on feedback.
Experience selling into food and beverage, QSR, hospitality or multi site operations is a bonus, but not a requirement.
Where you will work
We have a London office, but this role could also be based in London or remote. What matters is output, not location.
Compensation
We offer very aggressive, performance led compensation for people who deliver. The structure rewards you twice: strong commission on every qualified net new meeting you book, plus a share of the revenue from deals that close off the back of your work. We work to a balanced 50 / 50 split between base salary and on target earnings, so a meaningful portion of your package is yours to drive.
