Stonewater is looking for a Housing Officer (internally known as a Customer Partner) to join our Tenancy Sustainment team and provide exceptional customer service. The role focuses on managing property condition cases, hoarding issues, tenancy breaches, and permissions. It offers a varied, frontline experience for an experienced Housing or Community Development specialist, with responsibility for customer outcomes across a national model while maintaining local connections.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage property condition cases and tenancy breaches.
- Handle hoarding, permissions and other tenancy-related matters.
- Coordinate with multi-agencies to achieve customer outcomes.
- Travel locally for site visits and court appearances on behalf of colleagues.
- Provide customer-focused service and innovative solutions.
Ideal candidate will:
- Have proven housing experience and be able to successfully manage property condition cases and tenancy breaches.
- Have a strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
- Be experienced in partnership and multi-agency working.
- Understand safeguarding and support vulnerable customers.
- Be agile, flexible and able to prioritise customer needs.
- Work well within a team and think beyond process to find innovative solutions.
- Be computer literate; experience with Active H is desirable.
