We are seeking an experienced Private Equity Director to join a London-based investment team with a generalist mandate, the team have historically invested in asset-backed operating companies but are now looking at more asset light transactions.

Key responsibilities

  • Originate and lead investments across a variety of sectors within the mid-market space (team are currently exploring transactions within Healthcare, Software, Defence, etc)
  • Evaluate opportunities across the UK and wider European markets.
  • Lead deal execution, including financial analysis, due diligence and negotiations.
  • Build relationships with management teams, advisers and intermediaries.
  • Work closely with portfolio companies to drive growth and value creation.
  • Mentor junior members of the investment team.
  • Ideal profile
  • 8–12+ years of private equity, investment banking or related investing experience.
  • Strong track record of sourcing and executing transactions.
  • Genuine interest and experience in UK/European mid-market PE
  • Excellent commercial judgement, analytical skills and communication abilities.
  • Comfortable operating across sectors and geographies at senior level.
