We are partnering with a highly regarded investment platform supporting hedge fund managers across their full lifecycle - from launch through to scale. The firm combines deep investment expertise with a data-driven, research-led approach to help managers build durable, high-performing businesses. This is a high-impact role offering direct exposure to senior leadership, involvement in key commercial and investment decisions, and the opportunity to work closely with top-tier hedge fund managers in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment.
The Role: A broad, multi-disciplinary role at the intersection of financial modelling, commercial deal structuring and investment analysis. You will play a key role in supporting decisionâmaking across the business, including partnership economics, operational planning and investment manager assessment.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial & Operational Modelling: Build bottomâup financial models covering revenue, costs and capacity. Support budgeting, forecasting and KPI tracking. Develop activityâbased costing and profitability analysis.
- Deal Structuring & Commercial Analysis: Model partnership economics, including revenue share and fee structures. Support deal evaluation and prepare materials for investment / deal committees. Analyse and stressâtest commercial scenarios.
- Investment Due Diligence: Assess hedge fund managers, including track record, strategy and risk profile. Produce performance analytics and investment reviews. Support ongoing monitoring and identify areas for improvement.
- Data & Analytics: Build datasets and dashboards across performance and commercial metrics. Automate reporting using Python and BI tools. Support broader analytics and investor reporting processes.
Candidate Profile: Experience in investment analysis, strategy consulting, banking or similar analytical roles. Strong financial modelling and quantitative skillset. Experience with fund analysis, due diligence or alternative strategies preferred. Exposure to commercial modelling or deal structuring is advantageous. Strong data capabilities (Python, SQL, or similar). Excellent communication skills with ability to present to senior stakeholders. Highly organised, detailâoriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams. Interest in hedge funds and alternative investments.
