This role is driving our Edgewell Custom Brands (ECB) private label business forward in order to deliver budgeted invoice, net sales, and gross margin within the assigned account portfolio across the financial year, in line with annual and strategic objectives set by the ECB Director. Proactively identify and exploit sales opportunities to achieve the short- and long-term private label objectives, whilst continuously developing commercial capability to maximise individual and organisational contribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve budgeted sales, gross margin, and distribution targets across all major accounts in line with agreed annual and strategic objectives.
- Build effective customer partnerships in order to maximise sales and optimise margins, including the development and execution of Joint Business Plans.
- Drive Sales and margin growth through effective internal collaboration, optimising portfolio, packaging and processes.
- Lead nominated new business and new SKU development project.
- Track Customer performance and proactively recommend actions to improve revenue and profitability supported by robust data and reporting.
- Monitor trade and competitor activity and communicate insights internally and externally.
- Support ECB global account sales administration including tenders, forecasting and pricing using Promax and other Data & Analytics.
- Collaborate with Customer Services, Demand Planning and Supply Planning and Packaging to maximise product availability and service levels.
- Network across Edgewell functions including production, packaging, Logistics, Quality, Marketing and Finance.
- Participate in trade group negotiations, including cross border coordination where required.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence across all areas of responsibility.
- Maintain responsibility for all role-related administration.
Required Skills & Experience
- Graduate or equivalent qualification in a commercial related discipline.
- Mathematics GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Formal Sales Training & proven account management experience.
- Significant Commercial experience in Consumer Goods preferably Own Label.
- Strong IT capability including Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office and Power BI.
