Position Summary

Reporting to the Regional Senior Finance Manager, this role has business partnering activities as well as month end close activities. It supports and owns elements, as appropriate, of the corporate planning (QF, Budget, Strat Plan) and corporate Month/Quarter end reporting and analysis. The Finance team is ever-evolving at Edgewell and there is considerable opportunity to improve processes and procedures to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting and to add value to the team and company.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes towards the P&L and Balance Sheet: Accurate and reflects company policies and agreed accounting standards.
  • Proactively manages Deflator accruals and releases to ensure they reflect commercial phasing/agreements.
  • Month end close journals and review.
  • Working with local teams on reporting and analysis.
  • Assist with setting up the EU Digital Channel.
  • Managing the Advertising and Promotions spend for the digital team.
  • Supports the Senior Finance Analysts: ensures all corporate deadlines are identified, communicated to the business and are met.
  • Ensures HPL accurately reflects the commercial P&L to Gross Margin and the corporate profit to Operating Profit.
  • Produces reports and analysis to ensure YTD and YTG performance is understood.
  • Works on Price, Volume mix models to assist with commentary for group.
  • Works with other Senior Finance Analysts to ensure that there is value adding analysis for the commercial and marketing teams.
  • Analyses overheads and ensures forecast spend is in line with target.
