Position Summary
Reporting to the Regional Senior Finance Manager, this role involves business partnering activities as well as month-end close activities. It supports and owns elements of corporate planning (QF, Budget, Strategic Plan) and corporate month/quarter-end reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Commercial P&L and Balance Sheet
- Accurate and reflects company policies and agreed accounting standards
- Proactively manages deflator accruals and releases to ensure they reflect commercial phasing/agreements
- Month-end close journals and review
- Working with local teams on reporting and analysis
- Assist with setting up the EU Digital Channel
- Managing the Advertising and Promotions spend for the digital team
- Corporate Budgeting & Forecasting
- Ensures all corporate deadlines are identified, communicated to the business and are met
- Ensures HPL accurately reflects the commercial P&L to Gross Margin and the corporate profit to Operating Profit
- Produces reports and analysis to ensure YTD and YTG performance is understood
- Corporate Reporting
- Works on Price, Volume mix models to assist with commentary for group
- Works with other Senior Finance Analysts to ensure value-adding analysis for the commercial and marketing teams
- Analyzes overheads and ensures forecast spend is in line with target
