London startup looking for a social media & content marketer. We help apparel brands sell compliant products. When brands launch products in new markets, they face hundreds of rules covering things like chemicals, product safety, environmental requirements, labels, and import requirements. Our job is to help them figure out what applies, what actions they need to take, and work with them to stay compliant.

Most product regulations exist for a good reason: to protect people and the environment. The problem is that compliance has become increasingly complex. Especially when selling internationally, keeping up with all those requirements is difficult. Missing one can lead to serious fines, product recalls, shipment delays, or even personal liability for company directors.

Our core target audience is mainly product managers at apparel brands (between 10-500 employees) in the UK and North America. They usually don't have an in-house compliance person, have very little compliance expertise, and are worried about legal consequences.

We're just getting started with content. We regularly host webinars with the compliance experts on our team. These webinars are the engine behind our entire content strategy. We want to turn our webinars into as many useful content pieces as possible:

  • LinkedIn posts
  • Short-form videos
  • Newsletters
  • Guides, checklists, and infographics

Right now, we don't have the bandwidth to do that well. We also aim to increase the number of webinar sessions to 1-2 per week. That's why we need your help!

The compliance industry is (unsurprisingly) very boring. The industry is dominated by legacy companies like TÜV, SGS, and UL. Most of their content feels like it was written by lawyers for lawyers. We want to be different. Our goal is to make compliance easy to understand, engaging, and genuinely useful. If a 5th grader can't follow it, it's probably too complicated.

Responsibilities include:

  • Research compliance news, regulatory changes, and trending topics through customer feedback, sales input, industry research, and our compliance experts.
  • Own our 12-month webinar and content calendar.
  • Coordinate presenters and manage the webinar schedule.
  • Create webinar slides, scripts, and supporting materials with our compliance experts.
  • Host and moderate live webinars, including Q&A.
  • Set up webinar events in Microsoft Teams, Riverside, or Livestorm.
  • Write webinar landing pages and event descriptions.
  • Build webinar email and SMS reminder sequences in Klaviyo.
  • Run presenter rehearsals before each webinar.
  • Promote webinars to our existing audience.
  • Repurpose webinars into content pieces.
  • Create supporting resources such as guides, checklists, roadmaps, infographics, tools, templates.
  • Turn these webinar resources into gated lead magnets.
  • Write blog articles based on each webinar.
  • Create short-form videos for LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
  • Schedule and publish related social media posts.
  • Upload webinar recordings to YouTube.
  • Own our bi-weekly compliance newsletter.
  • Coordinate daily LinkedIn and Instagram content.
  • Keep our social media profiles up to date.
  • Expand and maintain our compliance glossary.
  • Coordinate interviews with customers.
  • Write and finalise case study content.
