ABOUT US
EdgeComply is a modern product compliance partner for exciting global brands. Our job is to help our clients make sure their products meet all the regulations in the markets they sell to. Common areas are safety testing, chemical restrictions and environmental rules. It also includes compliant labels and user manuals.
Why does product compliance matter? There are countless regulations that exist to prevent everyday products from causing harm to you or the environment. However, with the rise of e-commerce and globalisation, many growing brands are becoming increasingly overwhelmed with the variety of rules and need help. Our clients are typically based in the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe, and their products sell globally.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Full-Time | On-Site (London, Design District)
- We're hiring a Junior SDR to be the first voice growing brands hear from EdgeComply. Your day is built around the phone, but instead of pitching strangers who didn't ask for it, you'll be inviting brands to one of our popular compliance webinars. It's a soft, helpful conversation, not a hard sell. This is a great fit if you want a structured start in B2B sales with a clear path forward. You'll be trained directly by members of our senior sales team and our CEO. After 18 months of strong performance, the path is Senior SDR, and from there into an Account Executive (closing) role.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Outbound Calling: Make a high volume of outbound calls to consumer and e-commerce brands using our script and target lists. This is the core of the job and where you'll spend most of your time.
- Webinar Invites: Invite qualified brands to our compliance webinars and follow up to make sure they actually show up.
- Meeting Booking: Qualify interested brands and book them in for a meeting with our closing team.
- CRM Hygiene: Keep call notes, dispositions, and follow-ups clean and up-to-date so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Iterate With Us: Share what's working and what isn't from your calls. We adjust the script and approach based on what the team learns each week.
- Work Closely With The Sales Team: You'll report to our Sales Manager, who'll coach you on calls, run weekly 1:1s, and help you improve fast.
WHAT YOU ARE MEASURED BY
- MEETINGS BOOKED: You consistently book qualified meetings for our closer each week.
- WEBINAR SHOW-UPS: The brands you invite to our webinar actually attend.
- PIPELINE CONTRIBUTION: A smaller share of your bonus is tied to the meetings you book that turn into closed deals, so you're rewarded for quality, not just volume.
WHO YOU ARE
- RESILIENT: Hearing "no" doesn't rattle you. You know it's part of the job and you keep dialling.
- COACHABLE: You want feedback on your calls, you act on it, and you get better week over week.
- DISCIPLINED: You hit your call targets because you do the work consistently.
- WARM ON THE PHONE: Clear, confident, and easy to talk to. People feel comfortable with you quickly.
- CURIOUS: You actually listen to what brands say about their challenges, not just wait for your turn to talk.
- CLEAR COMMUNICATOR: You speak and write in clear, professional English. No prior sales or compliance experience needed. What we care about is the qualities above. We'll teach you everything else.

WHAT YOU GET
