As a 2-5 PQE Employment Associate, you’ll mostly work on the employer side, though will also get exposure to Senior Executive and employee representation work. Being part of a small team, you will get lots of direct client contact and will make a real contribution to your clients' businesses. One day, you’ll be defending Employment Tribunal claims and dealing with employee exits; the next, you’ll be handling corporate support, TUPE and advisory matters. You can therefore keep a broad skill set.
Examples of work include:
- Advise employer clients on all aspects of employment law, including capability and attendance issues, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and termination of employment.
- Draft and review employment contracts, settlement agreements, and HR documents.
- Handle complex employment disputes, including Employment Tribunal claims.
The firm is on a growth trajectory, having opened new departments and made senior Partner level hires recently. This is a hybrid role. The firm is based in London’s West End, and you’ll be expected to go into the office 3 days a week.
