Progress your career by working on a varied, complex caseload. Based in London. Ranked in the Legal 500, this firm has an excellent reputation and is frequently quoted in the national press. This is your chance to gain exposure to a mix of high stakes employment law matters and work with international corporate clients. You’ll mostly work on the employer side, though will also get exposure to Senior Executive and employee representation work. Being part of a small team, you will get lots of direct client contact and will make a real contribution to your clients' businesses.

One day, you’ll be defending Employment Tribunal claims and dealing with employee exits; the next, you’ll be handling corporate support, TUPE and advisory matters. You can therefore keep a broad skill set. Examples of work include:

  • Advise employer clients on all aspects of employment law, including capability and attendance issues, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and termination of employment.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, settlement agreements, and HR documents.
  • Handling complex employment disputes, including Employment Tribunal claims.

The firm is on a growth trajectory, having opened new departments and made senior Partner level hires recently. This is a hybrid role. The firm is based in London’s West End, and you’ll be expected to go into the office 3 days a week.

What you’ll need:

  • 2-6 PQE Employment Associate.
  • Qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
  • Experience gained in private practice.
