Head of Finance

Do you want to have real influence on the finance function of a law firm? This AI-powered, full-stack regulated UK law firm is on a mission to rebuild legal services from the ground up. This is their first finance hire, reporting directly to the founders. Backed by leading European VCs and founded by a team with prior exits in consumer and SaaS, they’re building something genuinely different: a law firm with technology at its core.

You’ll own finance end-to-end and design the function from a clean sheet — deciding what shouldn't exist, what should be automated, and where human judgement actually matters.

What you’ll own:

• Management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, cash, statutory accounts, audit and tax — alongside CLC Accounts Rules and client account compliance, commercial partnering with the founders, and supporting fundraising, board reporting and investor relations.

What you’ll need:

• Senior finance experience inside a UK law firm, with hands‑on CLC/SRA Accounts Rules and client account expertise.
• Genuine interest in AI and automation, and how they reshape knowledge work.
• Interest in legal technology and AI.
• Nice to have – ACCA qualified (5 PQE+ preferred).
