Established over 50 years ago, this full-service Legal 500 ranked law firm are seeking a 5-7 PQE Corporate Associate. You’ll get plenty of variety, work with different clients each day and have a clear progression path to Senior Associate, Legal Director and Partner. They act for UK and international corporations, entrepreneurs, and high-profile individuals from sports and entertainment.

Typically, they work on deals between £1m-£15m, though do work on £50m+ deals. You’ll be part of a well-established team of 10, including 4 Partners and junior support from below. This means you’ll get lots of direct client contact and will be given the freedom to run transactions with minimal supervision.

There will be a mixed caseload, covering both corporate and commercial – M&A, share purchase agreements, corporate governance, commercial contracts, distribution and licensing agreements. You’ll be encouraged to develop your own professional profile. As a firm that pride themselves on a quality, Partner-led service, you won’t be nailed to your desk churning out documents.

You will attend networking events, seminars and contribute to business development. The firm has a flat hierarchy with an open-door policy, which makes it easy to ask for help and support. You’ll have a healthy work / life balance and be working towards 5 billable hours a day. This is a hybrid role and you can expect to be in the office 3 days a week.

What you’ll need:

  • 5-7 PQE Corporate Associate.
  • Qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
  • Experience gained in private practice.
