Our client, a global leader in innovative consumer products, is seeking an Entry-Level Technical Project Manager to join their Mobile Applications team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of the next generation of connected mobile apps that power products across categories—from smart vacuums to advanced home appliances. As a Technical Project Manager, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning hardware, firmware, cloud services, and UX/UI to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of cutting-edge mobile applications. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a highly collaborative and technical environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive Project Planning & Execution: Define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables in coordination with hardware, firmware, and cloud teams. Build and manage detailed project plans to align with broader product and business objectives.
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Facilitate communication between engineering, design, QA, and product teams. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to keep teams aligned.
- Risk Management & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Manage the triage of issues, ensuring timely resolution and continuous progress.
- Track Progress & Report Updates: Maintain accurate project documentation including requirements, status reports, and timelines. Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on project milestones.
- Foster Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Support an environment of collaboration and innovation. Stay informed on trends in mobile development, project management, and consumer technology.
What We’re Looking For:
- Skills & Attributes: Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for a range of audiences. Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Comfortable working across technical domains and bridging gaps between hardware and software teams. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). Eagerness to grow, learn, and contribute in a dynamic team environment.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, PMP) or a Master’s degree are a plus. Experience (internships, co-ops, or up to 2 years professional) in technical project management or mobile app development coordination preferred. Basic understanding of the mobile app development lifecycle, QA, and release management processes.
