Key Responsibilities
- Executive Support: Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, including complex diary management, scheduling, and correspondence handling. Prepare and organise documents for meetings, ensuring the CEO is fully briefed. Attend meetings with or on behalf of the CEO, taking minutes and ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Communication & Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders. Coordinate across departments to facilitate seamless execution of initiatives. Act as a bridge between the CEO and the executive team, ensuring priorities remain aligned.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitors, and business opportunities within the energy and finance sectors. Compile insightful reports to inform strategic decision-making.
- Presentations & Documentation: Draft, edit, and refine high-impact presentations. Prepare and review reports, speeches, and other key documents with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
- Project Management: Assist in planning and executing strategic initiatives, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met. Identify challenges and propose solutions to keep projects on course.
- Confidentiality & Discretion: Manage highly sensitive information with complete discretion. Handle confidential documents securely and appropriately.
- Personal Support: Provide ad hoc personal assistance to the CEO as needed, ensuring a seamless integration between professional and personal commitments.
- Start-Up Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing start-up setting, demonstrating adaptability and resourcefulness. Take on additional responsibilities as required, contributing to the organisation’s success.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education & Industry Knowledge: Degree qualification is essential. Experience in finance, private equity/M&A, or the energy sector is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to create professional presentations and spreadsheets.
