About the Role
This is a unique clinical-sales hybrid role, which we define as "Clinical Sales". While the core objective is to drive instrument and consumable sales post-robot installation, it requires strong clinical expertise to support surgeons, advance clinical adoption, and ultimately boost procedural volume. You will partner with our distributor’s clinical team to bridge clinical value and commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship & Clinical Support: Maintain relationships with commercially installed hospital clients through regular visits, on-site procedure support, and timely issue resolution during surgeries. Provide hands-on clinical training to surgeons and operating room teams to enhance their proficiency with the robotic system.
- Clinical Capability & Procedure Expansion: Drive the adoption of robotic surgery by expanding clinical applications across departments and supporting the development of new, complex surgical procedures. Coordinate with external surgical experts to deliver advanced training, laying the foundation for increased procedural volume.
- Commercial Alignment & Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the distributor clinical team to translate procedural growth into consumable sales, ensuring sustainable revenue generation. Assist hospitals in completing surgical pricing approval processes and preparing required documentation to remove barriers to procedure scaling.
Qualifications
- Education & Clinical Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Clinical Medicine, Surgery, or a related clinical discipline.
- Required Skills: 3+ years of experience in medical device/consumable sales, marketing, or clinical applications is preferred.
- Preferred Skills: Solid medical knowledge to engage credibly with surgeons and clinical teams. Strong interpersonal, logical thinking, and rapid learning abilities to thrive in a dynamic clinical-commercial environment.
