Must have experience with industrial spraying equipment and previously worked in a high-volume production paint line. Key Responsibilities: Sanding and preparation of parts for paint operations. Spray Painting. Meet set targets while working in a high-volume production paint shop. Paintsprayingofsingleand2packpaints. Report defects and possible issues to be rectified before paint Touching up parts or finished machinery whenever necessary Ensure proper handling, cleaning and storage of painting equipment. Ensureproperusageofequipmenttominimisedamage\\wastageandre-workthrough the spray-painting process. Ensuring a high standard of workmanship. Ensureworkingareaismaintainedtoahighstandardtoensureasafeandhealthy working environment. General Uphold the Core Values of the company and work to achieve the wider organisational objectives as detailed in the Corporate Plan. Achievehighstandardsofpersonalperformance,throughmeetingagreedpersonal targets and undertaking training as required. Fulfil the legal Health and Safety duties placed on employees by: Taking reasonable care of your own health & safety and that of others who may be affected by what you do or do not do; Co-operating with the company on Health & Safety matters; Ensuring that you use work items provided by the company correctly and in accordance with the training and instruction received, including personal protective equipment (PPE); Ensuring that you do not interfere with or misuse anything provided for health, safety, or welfare purposes. Perform any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training. PERSON SPECIFICATION SPRAY PAINTER Criteria Essential Qualifications, & Experience Experience working with high pressure industrial air/air less paint spraying systems 2 years experience in working as a dedicated spray painter within similar environment. Worked previously in a high-volume production paint line Previous experience in painting 2 pack paints Knowledge Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes. Skills and Competencies Effective communication and interpersonal skills to deal with individuals at all levels of the business successfully; Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail; Ability to work unsupervised and use initiative; Flexibility to move between required tasks, business needs and departments.
