About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a recently expanded Simulation and Clinical Skills Education team, supporting simulated practice across the Faculty Health, Social Care and Medicine.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the technical facilitation of simulation scenarios, including programming of human patient simulators, utilising the audio-visual system for live streaming
  • Setting up/preparation of the simulated clinical environment for teaching and learning activities
  • Management, maintenance, and ordering of stock consumables and materials
  • This is an exciting, diverse and challenging role, where you will be supported to develop your skills as a simulation and skills technician.

About You

As Simulation and Clinical Skills Technician, you will have:

  • Experience of working in a simulation, clinical skills or healthcare environment and/or an education setting
  • Working knowledge of computer operating system and audio-visual systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work effectively
