About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference to our students\' experiences and give a first class service to our stakeholders and community.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- To provide a first-class service to our customers in undertaking set-up\'s/set-down\'s for events, to support with moves, including students, to understand stock control within our small, serviceable warehouse
- Providing high standard of Cleaning and Portering service across campus
- Manual handling of incoming and outgoing stock, picking and packaging of cages and the pushing and pulling of cages – this is a physically demanding role

About You
AsWarehouse & Portering Operative, you will have:
- Previous warehousing experience within Goods In, Goods Out and Stock Control environments
- Understanding of COSHH, working knowledge of Health & Safety.
- Previous work experience in a front-line customer service environment delivering excellent customer service, responding to customer requests and resolving issues.
- Experience of working as part of a team, sharing responsibilities and working flexibly to a schedule of work.
- Ability to perform DIY tasks as well as use and maintain industrial equipment e.g., vacuums, carpet cleaners etc.
- Ability to work flexibly, under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Highly motivated and committed to positively engage with personal development
