We’re here to create and harness knowledge, to deliver opportunity for everyone.
About the Role
As Assessment Invigilator, you will help the Medical School Assessment Team deliver safe, fair and efficient high‑stakes assessments. Working on a casual, hourly paid basis, you will support Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs), computer‑based written examinations and Multi Mini Interviews, helping each session run smoothly and in line with established procedures.
You will prepare assessment venues and candidate areas, provide clear instructions, monitor timings and candidate movement, and ensure examination regulations are followed throughout.
You will help maintain secure assessment conditions, respond appropriately to procedural queries and support candidates who become unwell or distressed, while referring academic or clinical questions to the appropriate examiner or assessment lead.
You will also report incidents or irregularities and assist with emergency, equipment or venue issues as directed.
This is a casual role with work offered on an ad hoc basis, typically in full‑day or half‑day sessions. You must be available for scheduled examination dates and attend mandatory training and briefings.

You will work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate a strong commitment to confidentiality, assessment security, equality, diversity and inclusion, and high standards of customer service.
