Key responsibilities within this role include:

  • Project delivery: Taking responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of consulting projects, overseen by Senior Analyst, Consultant or Senior Consultant and led by a Director.
  • Applying technical & industry expertise: Applying modelling and/or healthcare experience to deliver high-quality outputs for our clients;
  • Innovation: Proactively learning from past projects and experiences to build and develop new propositions for use within the health sector;
  • Business development: Supporting the wider growth of Edge, through development of marketing material and team training and development.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

We greatly value diversity and would welcome applicants from a range of academic and professional backgrounds. While meeting all the stated job requirements can be beneficial, at Edge, we understand that diverse experiences and perspectives can bring great value to our work. So, if you are passionate about the work we do and share our values, we encourage you to apply, even if you do not meet every single criterion.

  • Technical skills in the field of data analytics, economic modelling, or statistics, developed either through academia or professional experience;
  • Be highly motivated, self-driven and versatile, and excited to work within a growing start-up;
  • Experience working in a healthcare, consulting, research, modelling, product or related setting;
  • Have the ability to engage effectively and enjoyably with a range of people, and to communicate impactfully the findings and implications of their work;
  • Have a knowledge of coding in SQL and preferably R or similar statistical languages, or a willingness and ability to learn how to do so;
  • Have experience of delivering projects and outputs to tight timescales and to a high quality;
  • Take proactive responsibility for personal development, and the development of individuals and teams around them.
