Musselburgh | Full-Time – 37.5 hours

Not all support work looks the same. At Edge Group Scotland, we deliver specialist supported day programmes for autistic young adults and those with additional support needs through real‑world experiences that build confidence, independence and practical life skills. We’re looking for proactive, positive and genuinely person‑centred people to join our growing team. Support may involve travel training, volunteering projects, cooking sessions, outdoor learning, watersports, community activities or employability-focused opportunities — all designed around meaningful outcomes and real progression.

About Edge: Based in Musselburgh, Edge Group Scotland combines specialist social care support with recognised, certified outcomes, helping individuals develop confidence, independence and everyday life skills in a practical, engaging and supportive environment.

We’re Looking For People Who:

Experience within social care or ASN support is desirable, but values, attitude and willingness to learn matter hugely to us.

Essential Requirements:

  • SVQ2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards qualifications in line with SSSC requirements)
  • SSSC registration (or willingness to register)
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Availability Monday to Friday 8:45 am to 5 pm

At Edge, we actively support staff development across areas including outdoor learning, travel training, employability, person‑centred planning and accredited outcomes.

Key Details:

  • Location: Musselburgh, East Lothian, with travel to outdoor activity locations
  • Salary: £13.45 hr
  • Job Type: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Additional Information:

This role is subject to the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. All previous convictions, including those that are ‘spent,’ must be declared. These will not necessarily preclude employment but must be disclosed during the recruitment process. The job is also a regulated role under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. The successful applicant must pass a Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Check via Disclosure Scotland prior to taking up their post.
