Edge Contracting Services are recruiting an experienced Working Supervisor / Black Hat to oversee and work alongside a civils gang on a project in Blyth.

- Working Hours: 7:30am - 5:30pm
- Pay Rate: £28.00 per hour

- General civils and groundworks
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervising and coordinating a gang of groundworkers on site.
- Taking a hands-on approach to drainage, ducting and utilities installation.
- Overseeing excavation, trenching and service installation works.
- Ensuring work is carried out accurately to the required levels and specifications.
- Monitoring productivity, quality and progress against the programme.
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed and safe working practices are maintained.
- Liaising with site management and coordinating daily activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience supervising civils and groundworks teams.
- Strong practical experience in drainage, ducting and utilities installation.
- Confident taking levels and ensuring works are completed accurately.
- Able to lead a gang while remaining hands-on with site activities.
- Reliable, organised and safety-conscious.
