Edge Contracting are currently looking for a Road Sweeper Driver to work on projects across the North East and North Yorkshire, supporting a large earthworks contractor.
Role Duties
- Operating a road sweeper on live construction and earthworks sites
- Keeping site entrances, haul roads and access routes clean and safe
- Maintaining high standards of site safety and cleanliness
- Carrying out daily checks and basic machine maintenance
- Operating other plant when required (dumper, roller or tractor), if ticketed
No previous road sweeper experience is required — full training will be provided for the right candidate.

- Temp-to-perm role with a full-time employed position available
- £18.00 per hour PAYE
- Time and a third on Saturdays
- Paid travel time
- £80 per night staying-away allowance
- 23 days annual leave
