Edge Contracting Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Traffic Marshall to join a site team on a project in Blyth.
Job Details:
- Location: Blyth, Northumberland
- Position: 1x Traffic Marshall
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing - to be confirmed
- Working Hours: 7:30am - 5:30pm
- Pay Rate: £18.00-£18.50 per hour
- Required Ticket: NPORS Plant & Vehicle Marshal
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directing and marshalling plant, vehicles and deliveries safely around site.
- Guiding reversing vehicles and assisting drivers with safe manoeuvring.
- Managing vehicle movements to prevent collisions and maintain safe access routes.
- Ensuring pedestrians and site personnel remain clear of vehicle operating areas.
- Communicating effectively with plant operators, drivers and site management.
- Maintaining safe working practices and complying with site health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid NPORS Plant & Vehicle Marshal qualification.
- Previous experience working as a Traffic Marshall on a construction site.
- Good communication skills and awareness of site health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a site team.
