You will be working on a £15m school project in Birmingham. As Quantity Surveyor, you will be commercially and contractually responsible for the project, reporting into a visiting Managing Surveyor. An Assistant Surveyor will report directly to you.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and monthly reports
  • Managing variations and ensuring contractual compliance
  • Issuing and reviewing payment notices, interim valuations, and final accounts
  • Measurement and quantification of works in line with contract requirements
  • Liaising and managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, and consultants
  • Supporting project planning and forecasting, including risk and cost management
  • Ensuring accurate record‑keeping and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
