You will be working on a £15m school project in Birmingham. As Quantity Surveyor, you will be commercially and contractually responsible for the project, reporting into a visiting Managing Surveyor. An Assistant Surveyor will report directly to you.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and monthly reports
- Managing variations and ensuring contractual compliance
- Issuing and reviewing payment notices, interim valuations, and final accounts
- Measurement and quantification of works in line with contract requirements
- Liaising and managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, and consultants
- Supporting project planning and forecasting, including risk and cost management
- Ensuring accurate record‑keeping and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
