I’m urgently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a developer specialising in high-quality residential apartment schemes. This is a freelance role for an 8 week period, working on a premium residential development. The client requires someone who can start immediately and quickly integrate into the site team. You will be office-based with the occasional site visit, reporting into the Commercial Manager, and supporting the commercial delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account
- Preparing and assessing valuations and variations
- Supporting cost reporting, forecasting, and budget control
- Assisting with monthly commercial reporting
- Working closely with site and project teams to ensure commercial performance
- Maintaining cost control across residential packages
Requirements:
- Strong Senior Quantity Surveyor experience within residential developments (ideally)
- Proven background as a Senior QS
- Confident managing subcontractor packages independently
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness
- Able to work on-site full time and start immediately
- Available for the full 8-week duration
