Edge Careers are working on behalf of a key client that's looking to add a Mobile Plant Fitter to their business. This is a Groundworks Contractor that predominantly operates within the Residential Sector. They specialise in Roads, Sewers, Infrastructure, Bulk Earthworks and Housing Plot Groundworks.
I'm looking to speak with individuals that are used to working on Heavy Plant up to 30 Tonne; experience working on Hitachi Plant would be beneficial. The role involves repairing and maintaining the plant across various sites (Dumper, Rollers, Excavators, Telehandlers).
For this position, you would be home based covering an operational patch/region, with working hours from 7:30am to 4:30pm (Monday to Friday). A Company Van & Fuel Card will be provided.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of construction plant.
- Experience working with Hitachi excavators and associated contractors’ plant (including LGV’s).
- Understanding of site procedures and requirements.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Clean driving license.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance preferred (but not essential).
