The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

Start date - 8.12.25. Site Engineer required for 6 months in Oxford. Site Engineer will be the designated Project Engineer, therefore the technical POC. Good possibility of additional work to follow on.

Site Engineer role:

  • Setting out and quality checks for structural steelwork, drainage works, underpinning, earthworks and excavations, groundworks
  • Check setting out information
  • Establish primary and secondary dimensional control
  • Check and record control points
  • Complete Permit to Load/Strike
  • Requisition materials for in situ concrete works and obtain approvals
  • Supervise concrete deliveries including pre and post-pour inspections
  • Maintain site diary including maintaining good housekeeping on site
  • Manage and co-ordinate construction of all structural elements
  • Set out and maintain structural accuracy and main and internal gridlines including levels
  • Implement the Project Management Plan, engineering procedures and practices
  • Ensure that appropriate quality records are being produced
  • Understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Compilation of as-built drawings and create construction drawings for information
  • Experience with AutoCad and Total Station
  • Compilation of QA sheets for sub and super structural elements
  • Advise on buildability issues as required
  • Assist to prepare scope of works and reports as required
  • Carry out site surveys, levelling and setting out
  • Working out cut and fill quantities
  • Managing subcontractors, Cut and Fill/Groundworker/RC/Steel including checking setting out of subcontractor work
