We’re looking for a proactive Development / Pre-Construction Manager to help take schemes from a blank canvas through to planning approval. Working closely with consultants, clients, and internal teams, this role is central to shaping schemes at the earliest stages of development. Based from the West Midlands office, you will play a key role in influencing design, balancing commercial and technical considerations, and ensuring successful project outcomes from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing schemes from award through to planning permission
- Appointing, managing, and coordinating architects, engineers, and specialist consultants
- Overseeing surveys, reports, and technical appraisals
- Supporting value engineering and commercial decision-making
- Liaising with clients and supporting public consultation activities
- Managing pre-construction programmes
- Supporting tenders and interviews
- Submitting planning applications and handing projects over to delivery teams
