We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Executive to join our friendly and creative team based in Chichester. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Executive will play a key role in planning, delivering and optimising our core marketing activity. You'll be responsible for managing campaigns from concept through to execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to a high standard, and with measurable results.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Marketing Executive, or an ambitious Marketing Assistant or Coordinator looking to take the next step in their career, to gain broad exposure across the full marketing mix within a growing business. Whilst we operate in the B2B trade sector, our marketing is varied, data-driven and far-reaching. You'll work across a wide range of channels including email marketing, SMS, direct mail, PPC, SEO, social media, content marketing, PR, print advertising and website marketing, helping to attract new customers, strengthen existing relationships and drive long-term business growth.
You'll also take ownership of our organic social media strategy and content planning, working closely with colleagues, suppliers and external agencies to ensure all marketing activity is delivered professionally, effectively and on brand. As a growing business, we're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, bringing forward ideas and contributing to continuous improvement. In return, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills, take on greater responsibility and grow your career as the business continues to expand.
What's in it for you? This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of marketing disciplines within a busy and supportive environment. You'll have the chance to:
- The opportunity to take ownership of meaningful marketing projects and campaigns.
- Exposure to a diverse mix of marketing channels rather than specialising in just one area.
- Involvement in both strategic planning and campaign execution.
- The ability to see campaigns through from brief and creation to analysis, reporting and optimisation.
- A collaborative environment where new ideas and initiative are encouraged.
- Career development opportunities within a growing business and expanding marketing function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Management: Plan, coordinate and deliver integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns that generate awareness, engagement and customer retention across our B2B trade audience. Manage campaign timelines, ensuring activity is delivered accurately, on time and in line with business objectives.
- Marketing Materials: Work with internal stakeholders to develop and manage marketing materials, point-of-sale assets and sales support collateral. Ensure all materials are professionally presented and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Social Media: Take ownership of our organic social media strategy, including content planning, scheduling, performance monitoring and ongoing optimisation. Identify opportunities to grow audience engagement and brand awareness.
- Content Creation: Plan and create high-quality content across a variety of channels, including blogs, editorial, case studies, website content, social media and print advertising. Support wider content initiatives that strengthen our brand positioning and customer engagement.
- Analysis & Reporting: Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance across all channels. Use data and customer insights to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations that enhance future marketing activity.
- SEO & Website Marketing: Work with external SEO specialists to support organic growth through content development, website optimisation and best-practice implementation. Assist with website content management and ongoing improvements to user experience and performance.
About You: You may already be working as a Marketing Executive, or you could be a Marketing Assistant or Coordinator ready to progress into a role with greater ownership and responsibility. To succeed in this role, you'll be:
- Experienced in coordinating and delivering marketing campaigns.
- Organised and highly detail-oriented, with strong project management skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Confident analysing campaign performance and using data to inform decisions.
- A strong communicator who can work effectively with colleagues, agencies and suppliers.
- Proactive, commercially aware and keen to contribute ideas and recommendations.
Previous marketing experience is essential. Experience within a B2B environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
