Overview

Salary: £26,961 per annum plus sales incentive scheme

Hours: 40 per week – Mainly Monday – Friday, with occasional weekend working

Contract Type: Permanent

We currently have a great opportunity for someone to join our successful commercial team to manage the enquiry and coordination of weddings, special events, meetings and conferences; delivering the highest levels of customer service whilst ensuring sales are maximised and business is converted.

Responsibilities

  • Managing telephone, email and third-party enquiries for weddings, meetings, conferences and events.
  • Conducting face-to-face and virtual venue show-arounds with clients.
  • Answering enquiries about the venue’s facilities and services.
  • Driving upsells to maximise revenue at every opportunity.
  • Producing accurate quotations, proposals and written confirmations to clients and agents.
  • Coordinating weddings, special events, meetings and conference bookings from contract stage to final details stage.
  • Overseeing the accuracy of weddings and meeting room allocations.
  • Maintaining a close liaison with the reservations team with group booking status, bedroom allocations and rooming lists.
  • Supporting the organisation and delivery of the wedding and special event showcases.

Qualifications

We put the guest at the heart of everything we do, so alongside having a minimum of two years’ experience in managing and coordinating weddings, special events, meetings and conferences from initial enquiry through to the final detail stage, you should possess strong interpersonal skills and have a genuine desire to help others and deliver exceptional levels of service.
