- We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic
- Public Area Cleaner to become an integral part of our dedicated Housekeeping Team on a
6 month fixed-term contract.
In this role, you will ensure that all public areas of the hotel, including corridors, lounges and back-of-house spaces, are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, contributing to a welcoming and exceptional guest experience.
- What you’ll be doing
- Maintaining impeccable cleanliness in all public and back-of-house areas, consistently adhering to hotel standards.
- Keeping corridors and public areas tidy, safe and free from obstructions at all times.
- Ensuring used linen is correctly placed and collected at the appropriate times.
- Supporting the housekeeping team in servicing bedrooms when required.
- Assisting with periodic cleaning and laundering tasks, including curtains, blinds, bed covers, duvets, carpets and furniture.
- Responding proactively and professionally to guest queries and requests.
- Following and adhering to COSHH regulations for the safe use and storage of chemicals, materials and equipment.
- Complying with all Health and Safety standards, maintaining a safe working environment for both staff and guests.
About You
You will take pride in delivering the highest standards of cleanliness, with exceptional attention to detail and a genuine commitment to putting the guest at the heart of everything you do.
Ideally, you will have prior experience in professional cleaning, preferably within a busy hotel environment, including public areas and/or guest bedrooms.
