Our mission

In 2016, our founders wanted to feed their dogs - named Edgard and Cooper - pet food they could feel good about.

The kind of food that was as good for the planet as it was for their pets.

But when they couldn't find this, they decided to make their own.

Now, 10 years later, our pack has over 200 employees and we are beyond proud to be part of the B Corp movement.

London, UK

What type of breed are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Head of Sales who can turn commercial ambition into actual growth across the UK and Ireland.

Someone who knows their way around a retailer meeting, a sales target and a Joint Business Plan (ideally without needing three separate calendars to make it happen).

You’ll be responsible for driving the commercial growth of Edgard & Cooper in the UK & IE markets.

That means delivering and executing the sales strategy, leading and developing a high-performing sales team, and building strong, long-term partnerships with key grocery retailers.

You’ll also work closely with the Marketing Manager to lead strategy and execution together. Two functions, one plan, fewer plot twists. Hopefully.

What will be in your bowl?

  • Deliver and execute the UKIE commercial strategy with the Marketing Manager, in line with company ambitions.
  • Set priorities, allocate resources, deliver on sales and distribution targets, and unlock growth across channels and customers.
  • Lead, coach and develop the UK sales team & build a high-performing team with clear objectives and ongoing development.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, lock and execute Joint Business Plans, and build long-term partnerships with key grocery retailers.
  • Support field sales, expand distribution and improve in-store execution.
  • Translate brand strategy into impactful in-store and online activation, including launches, promotions and the core range.

What skills & tricks should you bring?

  • A degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or a related field, plus at least 6 years’ experience in sales or commercial roles, preferably within FMCG.
  • Proven experience leading and developing sales teams.
  • A strong background in key account management with national retailers, including leading key Joint Business Plan negotiations.
  • Solid commercial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting and P&L management, with a data-driven mindset and the ability to turn insights into action.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience working in cross-functional, international environments.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience in a fast-growing or challenger FMCG brand is a plus.

And because no two people bring exactly the same things to the Pack, we’re always interested in the extra skills, quirks and talents that make you, well, you. (Useful magic tricks count too.

  • Probably.)
  • Our Benefits
  • Competitive salary package that rewards your experience
  • 25 holidays per year + the option to take an extra month off to fully recharge
  • Flexible WFH + one month per year to work from anywhere you like
  • Company retreats, fun team activities, and a Volunteering Day to give back
  • Wellbeing program
  • Bring your pets to work + pet food for your furry friend
  • Learning and growth opportunities in a truly international environment
  • Hiring process
  • Intro call with HR
  • Competency based interview with Sales Lead
  • Case study on-site
  • Final interview
  • Equal opportunities

We believe the strength of a pack comes from its diversity.

So no matter who you are, where you come from, what you believe in or what your dreams are, we welcome you and look forward to receiving your application.

If your circumstances require any special arrangements at any stage of our interview process, please let us know.

We're looking forward to hearing from you.
