Job Description:
- Support the Desk in developing the business concept for PPA and Short Term Flex business across Europe
- Support the Desk in evolving the market view on PPA and long dated Flex deals (with hourly flex, up to 12Y)
- Facilitate the Desk in evolving the Trading Strategies
- Manage and Trade positions coming out of the long-term Flex and PPA trades
- Develop a Desk tool-set and analytics in alignment with supporting desks
- Work to execute and further develop the business strategy for each country
- Take ownership for all operational responsibilities of the Desk with regards to existing and new deals
- Support the Desk in evolving Business intelligence on Intraday and Imbalance and how to integrate Pricing and Deals in the EDF organization (e.g. E2M, Agregio and EDFT ID-Trading)
- Enable visibility of the PPA and short term flexibility Topic for the EDFT stakeholder and related Desks
- Able to use a professional approach at all times and set high standards
- This role is subject to the Front Office Supervision Procedures and you are required to adhere to them at all times and attest that you have read and understood them on an annual basis

About you:
- At least 2 years of experience working within Energy Trading or related functions
- Strong understanding of Energy markets, both from a financial and physical aspect
- Ability to reduce complexity to relevant parameter for decision taking
- Graduate level in an analytically-based discipline i.e. finance, maths, economics, science, engineering
- Stress resistant and resilient
- Highly motivated and self-driven
- VBA/python programming
- High Reliability and Accountability
- Creativity to establish new business
- Strong analytical skills
- Team-player with good communication skills
Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
