The Opportunity
As a Data Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping enterprise data architecture across EDF Power Solutions UK, setting standards that improve data quality, accessibility and governance across our digital landscape. Your work will directly enable analytics, reporting and data-driven decision making at scale. Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, this role offers flexibility. The location is flexible, with home-based working and some travel for meetings across the UK as required. You will work closely with business leaders, technology teams and delivery partners to design scalable, secure data solutions. Who You Are
We are looking for a Data Architect who brings clarity, confidence and structure to complex data environments and enjoys collaborating across business and technology teams. You are comfortable influencing decisions and translating data needs into practical solutions. To be shortlisted, you need to offer:
- Solid experience working in a data architecture role with direct ownership of data governance and management
- Hands-on experience designing business intelligence, analytics and master data management solutions
- Proven delivery of data solutions using Snowflake, Informatica, Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI
- Experience using Informatica or similar ETL or ELT (extract, transform, load) platforms for data integration, quality and governance
- Practical experience applying data modelling methodologies including 3NF, Kimball, Inmon, Hybrid or Big Data
- Experience using multiple data integration approaches such as ETL, ELT and virtualisation
- Strong working knowledge of master data management principles, practices and enabling technologies
- Experience applying architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
- Demonstrable experience applying data management or data governance frameworks such as DAMA DMBoK
- Experience working with outsourced IT service suppliers, providing governance and assurance of design deliverables
- A proven track record of collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to agree solutions that meet business and technical standards
- Experience working within Agile or SAFe delivery environments

- Defining and governing enterprise data architecture standards, models and integration patterns
- Designing scalable, secure data solutions across platforms including Snowflake, Informatica and Power BI
- Providing architectural assurance for data designs delivered by internal teams and external partners
- Embedding data governance, quality and lineage standards into data platforms and integrations
- Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, practical data architecture solutions
