Project context

As part of a major construction project in the UK, we are strengthening our procurement and supply chain team on site. The VIE’s mission will focus primarily on managing operational and strategic procurement for the construction project, in coordination with local teams and headquarters.

Mission objectives

  • Structure and manage procurement for the construction project (materials, equipment, subcontracted services).
  • Optimize costs, lead times, and quality of supplies.
  • Develop and monitor a local and international supplier panel.
  • Secure contracts and handle on-site negotiations.
  • Contribute to the implementation of procurement processes and tools adapted to the project environment.

Main responsibilities

  • Project procurement management: issuing requests for quotations, analyzing bids, conducting commercial and contractual negotiations, issuing purchase orders.
  • Contract follow-up: monitoring deliveries, ensuring contractual commitments are met, handling disputes.
  • Logistics coordination: supervising material flows in line with site needs (construction schedule, inventory levels).
  • Local sourcing: identifying and qualifying new local suppliers, in compliance with group quality and HSE standards.

Qualifications
