Permanent Job Responsibilities:
- Identification of appropriate valve types (e.g., ball, gate, globe, butterfly, control valves)
- Prepare and collate technical datasheets, drawings, and documentation
- Oversee installation of valves in piping systems
- Support commissioning and pressure testing activities
- Ensure proper alignment, fit, and operational readiness
- Inspect and diagnose valve faults, leaks, or failures
- Plan preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
- Recommend repairs, replacements, or upgrades
- Ensure compliance with industry codes (e.g., API, ASME, ISO, BS)
- Maintain safety and environmental standards
- Prepare technical reports and documentation
- Work closely with mechanical and planning teams, at site and MLC
Qualifications:
- Degree in relevant construction discipline or 10 years' experience in a site construction management role
- Experience in valve engineering, piping systems, or process industries
- Knowledge of valve types, materials, and actuation systems
- Good knowledge of CDM Regulations
- CCNSG Safety Passport (Or MAPS)
- Capable of obtaining security clearance of BPSS or higher
- Proven experience or safely delivering large scale construction or engineering projects including working at a management level of authority. Experience in the heavy industry or nuclear sectors is beneficial as is experience in working with Joint Ventures
