Job Responsibilities:
- Installing, bending and erecting rebar
- Selecting correct steel specifications
- Selecting materials for a task and inspecting suitability
- Reading, interpreting and working from drawings and schedules
- Supervising and managing steel fixing operations
- Monitoring work progress
- Inspecting completed work
- Providing guidance to team members
- Enforcing safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- CSCS (Supervisor)
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- Full UK Drivers License
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Familiarity and experience with site operation and the techniques of Steel fixing
- Experience of installing, bending and erecting rebar, experience at selecting correct steel specifications
- Competent at selecting materials for a task and inspecting their suitability
- Able to read, interpret and work from drawings and schedules
- Experience in a supervisory position
