Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting compliance with quality standards and procedures for all installation, calibration and testing processes of electrical and instrumentation scope.
  • Recommend methods to improve overall quality and assist in analysing quality concerns.
  • Monitor and assist construction to achieve quality standards.

Key Deliverables:

  • Perform inspections in accordance with the ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).
  • Liaise with the client's representative for conducting day-to-day inspections during the construction activities.
  • Ensure installation of Coating to equipment and substrates is in compliance with ECS Code, drawings, vendor and code requirements with respect to material, alignment, etc.
  • Assist QC Manager and Area Leads in executing their responsibilities.
  • Maintain LTQR's as required during inspections ensuring all signatures on LTQR and ITP during inspection as well as final acceptance formats (Electronic or Traditional).
  • Update SONIM register as required.
  • Strive to achieve Foreign Material Exclusion, preventing ingress or entrapment of non-specified materials, loose items or debris in equipment and/or systems during assembly and testing.
  • Actively support the introduction of initiatives for improved progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in an Engineering discipline, ONC / HNC / HND (or equivalent experience).
  • NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) level II, ICorr (Institute of Corrosion) level II, or BGas British Gas L2.
  • Major Project Experience.
  • Nuclear Experience beneficial.
  • Working in Alliance agreement projects.
  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in responsible Quality inspection positions.
