Personal Assistant to the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero representing HM Government, La Caisse, Centrica, EDF and Amber Infrastructure.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide high-quality executive support to the Alliance Director, enabling effective leadership, decision-making and prioritisation in a complex and fast-moving environment.
- Manage complex diaries, priorities and commitments, coordinate meetings and engagements with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Arrange travel, accommodation and hospitality, and process expenses in line with policy.
- Act as a key interface for the Alliance Director’s office, managing information flow, access and competing demands with discretion and sound judgement.
- Prepare, coordinate and quality-check briefings, papers and presentations.
- Attend key leadership and governance meetings, capturing clear outcomes, actions and follow-ups as required.
- Support effective communication and coordination across the MEH Alliance and the wider project, acting as a central point of contact where appropriate.
- Contribute to the onboarding and integration of senior leaders and key stakeholders as the organisation continues to grow.
- Maintain well-structured digital records, documentation and stakeholder information using agreed systems.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience providing high-level executive support to a senior director, executive or equivalent role.
- Experience working in a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgement.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, including managing complex diaries and shifting demands.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging at all levels of seniority.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate needs, think ahead and operate with minimal supervision.
- High levels of professionalism and judgement, particularly in managing information flow, access and priorities.
- Digital confidence, with strong capability in Microsoft tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
