The Opportunity
As our Retention Marketing Lead, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering strategies that strengthen customer relationships and reduce churn. You'll lead multi-channel campaigns and influence how we connect with customers, contributing to our journey towards An Electric Britain.
This is a hybrid role, working from home with time in our Hove office at least a couple of times a week, offering flexibility alongside team collaboration.
Working across dynamic teams, you'll shape customer journeys end to end and use insights to continuously improve performance. You'll have the opportunity to innovate, test, and learn helping us deliver meaningful engagement at scale.
Who You Are
We're looking for a Retention Marketing Lead who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and thrives in a fast-paced, reactive environment. To be shortlisted, you need to offer:
- Extensive experience in B2C marketing communications within energy or another regulated industry
- A strong track record of developing customer marketing strategies and delivering multi-channel campaigns at scale
- Experience working with automated marketing platforms and CRM tools such as Braze
- Experience leading campaigns from idea through to delivery, including measuring impact and optimising performance
- Strong experience structuring clear, targeted communications with compelling calls to action
- Meticulous attention to detail across all campaign activity
- Experience shaping customer journeys and communications end to end
- Commercial awareness with the ability to use data and insights to deliver measurable outcomes
- Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a complex environment
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and implementing insight-led retention strategies that drive engagement, loyalty, and advocacy
- Leading end-to-end campaign planning and delivery across email, SMS, and digital channels
- Making sure everything we send is accurate, compliant, follows best practice principles and is set up to deliver a strong performance
- Partnering with data teams to measure results, understand customer behaviour, and track and optimise campaigns through test and learn activity
- Collaborating with stakeholders to align retention activity with wider business objectives
