About the Role

Ready to shape a career where your expertise makes a real difference? As a Technology and Compliance Engineer, you’ll help power reliable metering solutions that support businesses across Britain. At EDF, Success is Personal – your journey matters as much as the energy you help deliver.

The Opportunity

As an experienced specialist in technology, technical procedures, software, and industry best practice, you will support the evaluation, design, deployment, and training of technology and technical procedures for our technical field teams. You will work closely with customers and colleagues to ensure all activities comply with relevant codes of practice, recognised industry standards, and safe working procedures. This hybrid role offers flexibility: you can work primarily from home or from a local office if preferred. Travel within the UK will be required for team meetings, site visits, and field‑based work.

You will continue to develop your expertise through hands‑on involvement in metering and communications projects, new technology trials, and collaboration with engineering specialists. You’ll also support training delivery, process improvements, and the development of innovative solutions that enhance performance and customer outcomes.
