We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join our Business Improvement & Innovation Centre of Excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of improvement activities to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality within the Civil Works Alliance. This role requires a proven expertise in process improvement in large and complex civil engineering infrastructure, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

β€’ Implement, embed and sustain daily / weekly visual performance management system.
β€’ Lead and facilitate process improvement initiatives across the Civil Works Alliance.
β€’ Using root cause analysis, value stream mapping and other structured problem-solving tools to identify areas for improvement.
β€’ Develop and implement process improvement and visual management strategies, methodologies, and tools to enhance project performance.
β€’ Conduct data analysis to monitor the effectiveness of process improvements and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
β€’ Collaborate with Delivery Sections and Enabling Functions and other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
β€’ Facilitate improvement workshops with Delivery Sections.
β€’ Provide training to educate delivery team on process improvement techniques and best practices.
β€’ Provide coaching to Section/Site CI Leads.
β€’ Create and maintain documentation related to process improvements, including process maps, flowcharts, and reports.
β€’ Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of process improvements.
β€’ Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in process improvement.
β€’ Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of process improvement initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

β€’ Bachelor\’s degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A master\’s degree is preferred.
β€’ Certifications in process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma/ Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) are highly desirable.
β€’ Proven experience as a Process Improvement Specialist or similar role in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
β€’ Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Last Planner or related frameworks.
β€’ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex processes and develop innovative solutions.
β€’ Proficiency in statistical analysis and process mapping tools such as Minitab, Microsoft Viso or similar software.
β€’ Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
β€’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
β€’ Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in civil works and infrastructure projects. Knowledge of Nuclear sector would be a plus.
