The HPC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.

Main Duties:

  • Liaise with the Unit Manager, Chef Managers, Transport Manager and Unit Supervisors for the requirements of the stores/delivery operation on a day-to-day and weekly-planning basis.
  • Co-ordinate with each Unit Manager/Chef Manager's stock levels to ensure correct stocking based on usage over the previous 7 days.
  • Arrange goods movements internally across site using Somerset Larder vehicles.
  • Check stock for damage and wear, reporting faults and discrepancies to unit manager, and marking and labelling stock aligned to company policy and procedure.
  • Act as liaison and to accompany GLH operational teams, external delivery drivers, acting as guide and banksman across all HPC outlets.
  • Assist in the receipting of goods electronically using Procure Wizard and all company systems relating to stock management.
  • Ensure cleanliness of all equipment, crockery and cutlery is upheld as required.
  • Carry out cleaning duties as and when required.
  • Assist in completing the monthly stock taking within the stores.
  • Undertake as agreed, other duties and working development opportunities required and in-keeping with the role.
  • To assist the unit management team in all other KP duties.

Requirements:

  • Full, UK driving licence and have at least 12 months driving experience and no more than 6 points. (Desirable)
  • Level 2 Food Safety Qualification (Desirable)
  • Level 2 H & S Qualification (Desirable)
  • First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
